Phil Spector (Harvey Philip Spector, 25 de diciembre de 1940): músico y productor estadounidense, conocido sobre todo por su técnica de orquestación, el "muro de sonido" (wall of sound), consistente en grabar múltiples pistas de acompañamiento, superponiéndolas hasta crear un sonido compacto y algo apabullante. La técnica de Spector ha tenido una gran influencia sobre otros músicos que han experimentado con el estudio como instrumento musical, como The Beach Boys quienes por influencia de Spector usaban la técnica de el "muro de sonido", y The Beatles (que lo llamaron para hacerse cargo de las grabaciones de Let it Be).

Tim Blake - Blake´s New Jerusalem

Blake played synths with Gong, Hawkwind, Steve Hillage, and other similar projects before going solo synthesizer performer and recorder. This was Blake's first studio release versus his recordings of live gigs. He really polishes things up a great deal, adding guitars, and singing in the style of Gong's Daevid Allen and Steve Hillage's solo offerings. Blake's vocals would never be his strong point. His blessing to the ears was and always will be his ethereal and spacey synthesizer expertise.
